Blog What is a Lifelong Learning Account? A Lifelong Learning Account is like a virtual safety deposit box to keep all your important career information in one convenient and secure place. You can use a Lifelong Learning account to store your CV, keep a record of any training you’ve done, and save details of courses you are interested in. Wherever you go, you will be able to access your account – which will be doubly useful when meeting your National Careers Service adviser. To open an account, all you need to do is go to The National Careers Service website and click on the green ‘Register’ button, which you’ll find at the top right hand corner of the page. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be taken to an online form, where you’ll need to fill out a few details and create a password for your account. You’ll then receive an email from the National Careers Service asking you to activate your account by clicking on a web link. Now that you’ve created your account, you will also be able to save any reports and action plans that you create either with the help of one of our National Careers Advisers or by using the National Careers Service’s ‘Career Tools’ on their website.
