Shane came to Inspira after being referred by the Job Centre for support with his CV. He was interested in Forklift Truck driving roles and was due to speak with a potential employer the same week he spoke to Bradley, an Inspira Career Adviser, but Shane was concerned as he didn’t have a CV.
Bradley encouraged Shane to walk through his career history, focusing on Shane’s skills and experience. Enabling him to really sell himself to employers. Using Job Profiles resource on the National Careers Service website, Shane researched the Forklift Truck Driver role to make sure he added the relevant Key Skills and Attributes.
Shane was incredibly happy with the finished product and eager to take it to his upcoming interview. During his interview, the employer stated that the CV was professional and covered everything he wanted to know and as a result, Shane was offered a position with the company.
After the positive experience, Shane referred his friend suggested who needed similar help to also get in touch with Inspira. His friend got in contact and arranged a CV appointment. Following the appointment, he got a job at the same place after submitting his new CV created in the session with an Inspira Career Advisor.
