How old are you?
What did you do before working as an NCS Coordinator for Inspira?
I graduated from University a year ago and worked as a playwright and an outdoor instructor. I also I went traveling as much as I could and got to see some incredible places.
Why did you decide to join Inspira?
Working with young people has forever been something I’ve been passionate about; also, I have always wanted to work somewhere with a positive, progressive ethos. On all accounts, my role at Inspira fits that goal.
What do you do on a day to day basis on a workday at Inspira?
My priorities are on making sure as many young people get the chance to take part in NCS as possible, and then that the program goes smoothly – so my daily work is centred around that. I visit schools and colleges, address people’s concerns, and do lots of organising!
How does this Job Differ from ones you have had in the past?
The diversity of it! From traveling around schools giving presentations and meeting the young people, to being in the office planning and having meetings, to getting to go out and see first-hand the benefits and fun of the NCS program. Each day is different, and I find that very exciting.
What do you like most about your job?
Working with young people! I get to meet so many amazing young people, and it’s inspiring to be on their NCS journey. I’m very grateful to be able to be a part of that.
