Launch Pad, delivered by Inspira in Cumbria, aims to prepare young people for the world of work or further education by providing one-to-one and group tuition, alongside targeted information, advice and guidance.

Moving On is the same programme, delivered by Inspira in Lancaster and Morecambe on behalf of Preston College.

At the beginning of each programme, participants take individual assessments in order to identify areas for development and discuss their individual learning plan.

Alongside vocational study units in a range of sectors including: customer service, administration, warehousing and digital technology; participants can work towards recognised accreditation and certificates in English, Maths and ICT.

Personal development plays a pivotal role in our Launch Pad & Moving On programmes and is focussed on energetic, engaging and experiential activities created to improve essential employability skills like communication, leadership and teamwork.

Work placement tasters and voluntary work help participants gain experience in the sectors that interest them, while a range of short courses will be available to address personal and lifestyle topics that impact on young people’s ability to sustain progress.
