Hi my name is Laura! I'm a Skills and Development Adviser, based at the Inspira centre in Barrow-in-Furness.
I mostly work on the National Careers Service, however I'm often supporting people who are taking part in one of our other programmes that help people into work like - The Key and Launch Pad.
My days are always busy and interesting and I'm always learning new things - mostly from the different people that I meet. I am definitely never bored!
I love supporting people and knowing that I have helped someone to progress and feel better about themselves is very rewarding. I’m also really lucky to work with a great team of people.
