Sharing of skills at NCS Autumn Celebration

On Tuesday 14th January 2020 Inspira celebrated the success of an amazing group of Lancaster and Morecambe College (LMC) students from the Public Services and Sport department.

Sharing the skills they had learnt on NCS, such as teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, the young people also talked about the friendships they built through mixing with other young people they wouldn’t usually meet.

Supported by staff from LMC, the Autumn NCS programme was hailed a great success.

David Scambler, the course tutor said,"NCS is a great programme that I find really useful at the start of the college year. The skills developed transfer well to team sports and have been apparent in activities the young people have taken part in since.”
