Raheela starts new life in UK with help from Inspira

Raheela was from Pakistan and had applied for Asylum to the UK. When her indefinite leave to remain was granted, Raheela approached Inspira in Preston to ask for careers advice and support with her CV.

Having once worked in a bank in Pakistan, Raheela had built up her skills in the UK by attending ESOL classes and volunteering for the British Heart Foundation, Salvation Army, and interpreting.

With the help of an Inspira Adviser, Raheela developed a CV, found out how to job search on popular websites and search on social media to keep up-to-date with jobs in the local market.

After the appointment, Raheela felt she had improved her body language and communication skills, as well as having the knowledge to improve her CV.
