This new FREE Maths and English training is for anyone over the age of 18 and follows increased feedback that there remains a need in the community to continue offering innovative, bespoke provision outside the constraints of traditional classroom learning. As well as continued numeracy support there is an additional need to extend the programme to include literacy and language skills.
People who improve their numeracy and literacy skills are more likely to be in employment, have higher wages, and better wellbeing, and will be more able to progress to higher levels of free training to secure a skilled job in our economy.
