Catherine, a nurse with the NHS was completing her Master's and looking for a new and challenging role.
Conscious that it was some time since she had had an interview, Catherine was keen to understand the latest thinking and techniques.
Inspira's Adviser, Jane, showed Catherine several resources including how to use the STAR technique (Situation, Task, Action, Result) when answering competency-based questions.
As Catherine wanted to be able to give a strong answer to any questions about her skills, Jane demonstrated the Skills Health Check, which helps to identify particular strengths as well as areas for development.
Between them, Catherine and Jane identified a series of questions she could potentially be asked, and through a mock interview situation, role-played the interview situation.
"I feel confident about returning to work and feel equipped to apply for vacancies within the NHS that would enable me to achieve my goals," says Catherine.
