How Inspira supported AJ Security recruitment

Employing Cumbrian job seekers to the private security sector.

Adrian Kirkbride, the owner of AJ Security and director of AJ Training Academy in west Cumbria initially contacted Inspira for help with looking employing local job seekers outside of their small circle and providing employment programmes to help get people back into work. One of our Skills and Development Adviser got in touch, and together began working to deliver a SIA programme that provides attendees with personal and professional development opportunities including:

  • Building transferable skills and interview techniques
  • Build confidence, motivation, and resilience
  • Gain accredited qualifications
  • Gain great support from a local employer
  • Supported learning/ training

Inspira manage and deliver employment programmes on behalf of employers to help unemployed people, find work. Working with Job Centres, Local Enterprise Partnerships and local authorities on county-wide skills initiatives, we often deliver sector-specific programmes to fill immediate skill gaps. If you're an employer looking to get involved please contact Chris.Gibson@Inspira.org.uk

“Working with Inspira has helped meet the demand of providing SIA Licenced staff for the industry. We have a brilliant working relationship with Inspira, and this can be seen by the quality of those put forward for our courses. Working with Inspira has made our network so much bigger so we can offer more work to people outside of our little circles and they’ve proved another use. Proving that they are delivering what the security industry currently needs.”
