Rebuilding Her Future: Kateryna’s Journey into UK Construction

Determined to rebuild her career, Kateryna enrolled on the Creating Careers in Construction programme, a tailored initiative designed to develop employability skills, build confidence, and provide industry‑recognised qualifications and work experience.

During the programme, she successfully completed the CSCS course, gaining two qualifications. Her Inspira adviser also supported her in creating a new CV and helped her book the CSCS test with a Ukrainian speaking translator for March 2026.Recognising her potential, her adviser encouraged her to consider taking the test in English instead. Although hesitant due to her ongoing language learning, Kateryna agreed to try practising with English mock tests for a week. Her scores consistently exceeded 46/50 which was well above the pass mark.

With continued support, she cancelled her original booking and rebooked the test in English for the following week. Kateryna passed with an exceptional score of 49/50, demonstrating how personalised guidance and encouragement can empower motivated participants to thrive.

Kateryna is now awaiting her work‑experience placement, after which Inspira will continue to support her next steps toward employment. Her resilience and determination are inspiring, and her success highlights the value of tailored support for individuals rebuilding their careers.
